Environmental, social, governance.

The values of ESG governance sit at the core of Adir Group. Our dedication to green and sustainable buildings allows our work to be a leading example of environmentally conscious development practices. At the same time, our drive to deliver WELL accredited workspaces empowers our occupiers, helping them to feel, create and work at their best.

Environmental.

The environmental toll of the construction industry is as disproportionate as it is undeniable. Globally, the industry consumes 32% of natural resources and generates 30% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Something needs to change. At the Adir Group, we are committed to the green and sustainable practices laid out by ESG criteria. Our efforts carry from development through to building maintenance and operational management.

Social.

The majority of public sector construction contracts require the delivery of community benefits, and funders are now beginning to request the same. These benefits are to integrate into development and operational plans, and they are to be clearly defined, measurable and reportable. The Adir Group dedicates itself to being an active part of the ESG agenda through the continuous delivery of sustainability and social initiatives.

Governance.

As a significant contributor to climate change, the construction industry has the opportunity - and responsibility - to reduce emissions and promote sustainable practices. The Adir Group fully supports the government's policies seeking to improve built environments. We also support the ongoing efforts to drive down emissions, in line with the UK's commitment to becoming a net-zero carbon area by 2050.
